Kirtan is a call and response form of folk singing that uses ancient mantras set to music to free the heart and express devotion to the Divine.
Sometimes meditative, sometimes rocking, the songs allow the participant to get out of their own way and let the Light in!
The Sanskrit mantras are simple and repetitive, easy to follow along with and learn, and the tunes are western and recognizable.
Join us for our house group “One Voice" featuring Sydney Roberts on Harmonium and vocals, Joey Dukes on Percussion and Hand Pan, Mike Orlin on Mandolin and Billy Bramlett on guitar.
Dances of Universal Peace
Held the 3rd Saturday of every month at 7:00p
The Dances of Universal Peace is spiritual practice in motion that draws on sacred phrases, scripture, and poetry of many spiritual traditions of the earth. The Dances blend chant, live music and movement into a living experience of unity, peace and integration. The taste of our true nature—as Universal Peace—opens us to the possibility of a deep spiritual revolution within each person.
